This small restaurant packs a lot of flavor with their food. Tables are a little too close to each other but they did the best with the limited space available. I loved how the restaurant is covered in artwork in the form of photos, art pieces, etc., it truly gives off comfy vibes. My quesadilla was great and the margarita packed a punch!

Food was very good. The staff was friendly but very slow and inattentive. Had to ask for everything several times. It was busy so will try when they are slow next time.

This place is great. It's size and setup can make it slightly uncomfortable during busy times, but the food more than makes up for it. Great value through portion sizes for both food and drinks. Whenever I'm craving home-style meals like mom used to make growing up, this place comes through for me every time. More

Go for: A welcoming refuge with hearty portions of Central and South American dishes.
Avoid if: You're looking for a personalized, attentive dining experience.
Something surprising: The plantain and pork belly come with most entrees.
Reservation needed? No, but you'll probably have to wait for a table at peak meal times.
Overall Experience: 3/5. It's a cool hole-in-the-wall spot and they often open the windows in the summertime, which is nice. The portions were great but the food definitely seemed mass-produced, and the service was mediocre at best.

Fairly small restaurant but they optimized the space well. Service is fast and portions are generous and tasty. They have outdoor seating for those warmer days. It can get a bit noisy from traffic. Location is good as it is close to the train station. There is some street parking nearby.

The nachos were honestly pathetic. Maybe 9 total chips... The tacos were subpar and fairly tasteless. The mixed fajitas were a mixed bag, with the chicken being alright and the steak being pretty much tasteless. Serving portions on the entrees were generous though. I will not be returning, there are plenty of other great places in Maverick Square that are cheaper and tastier.

It was crowded and we had no reservations. The hostess was able to accommodate us really quick. The food is really good. From the apps to the entrees as a group we all really happy with our meal. Our waitress was terrific and made sure we didn't need anything. If we're back in East Boston we will stop in

The shrimp fajitas is one of my fave dishes here as well as the maracuya con leche drink (passionfruit with milk) ! You have to also try their chips and salsa to start with as well as their fries. More

Comfort Mexican food with generous portions.
Don’t make it out to East Boston often, so I’m not especially familiar with the neighborhood’s Mexican food scene. This spot is right by Maverick Station, and parking was relatively painless (rare for East Boston on a weekday if you don’t have a permit).
I got the fried green plantain with pork rind and guac, along with the grilled steak plate. The plantain dish looked almost like a pupusa topped with extras. On paper, fried plantain and chicharrón sounded a bit heavy and potentially greasy, and it mostly was. But that little smear of guac added a gentle tang and some freshness that kept it from feeling overwhelming.
For the grilled steak plate, I added Colombian sausage. Both the steak and sausage were okay, nothing remarkable, but the portions were enormous. The side salad helped balance things out more than similar steak plates I’ve had elsewhere.
There are definitely stronger Mexican options in the area, but if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal right by the T, this is a solid, convenient choice.

That restaurant was my favorite restaurant so far in Boston. The quality of the food was fantastic. The portion was good enough for a full meal with a great reasonable price.
The sauce which came with the shrimp we ordered was the most delicious sauce I have ever had.
The atmosphere was great. Also, I enjoyed the background music. Highly recommended.

My go to restaurant! Drinks are delicious, food is amazing, portions are huge, the vibes are cozy!! Personally love the nachos, THE GUACAMOLE WITH CHICHARON 😍😍 the breaded chicken plate and so much more but honestly you can’t go wrong with any plate 10/10 recommend. Great for all occasions, I’ve come with my husband and kids but also with my girlfriends for some margaritas and it’s a great option for all

The food is generally ok. However evey time I go its a different price. It shows online vs what you pay is SUBSTANTIALLY higher. Our 2 burritos which were supposed to be less than $20 were $30. On top of that, they're smaller than they used to be.
We used to go often but this is why we stopped going

We went on the advice of our daughter who lives nearby. The margaritas are terrific. And the food is awesome! She gets carne asada and loves it. We got the fish tacos. The best we ever had! Full of fish, lettuce, tomato, and avocado! And the sauce is also delicious but not overpowering.
